A principal engineer from Tonkin Engineering will make a presentation on the '2022 Middleton Flood Study' to Alexandrina Council on Monday 12 February.
The information session will cover the storm event that flooded the town in November 2022 and its aftermath.
Both the caravan park and the medical practice went under water, while shops and homes were damaged when a severe storm struck the Fleurieu Peninsula on Saturday 12 November.
More than 60mm of rain fell in two hours, causing widespread damage across the south coast, with Middleton bearing the brunt.
The council says Middleton residents are welcome to attend the information session, but as it is a formal council briefing only elected members can ask questions.
The information session will be held in the Goolwa council chambers at 5.30pm.
