Kangarilla travelled to Aldgate and were well on top early as the home side slumped to 2/7 in the eighth over, before Josh Callaghan (24) and Max Bilsborow (30 not out) added 41 runs for the third wicket. Only 23 overs were played as the Gaters finished on 3/59. Jack Evans (2/23) and Steve Featherstone (1/13) were the wicket takers for Kangarilla.
In the Grand Final rematch at Cherry Gardens, the game was in the balance as Stirling reached 4/79 from 22 overs against Scott Creek Ironbank (SCIB), before play was abandoned for the day.
