The Mount Moon Rock festival will celebrate 50 years of Woodstock at Mount Compass on Saturday 15 February, as part of The Fringe.

Step back in time to enjoy the classic sounds of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, ACDC, Jimi Hendrix and Fleetwood Mac.

The line-up features tribute bands Just Floyd, Whole Lotta Zepp, Bon n All, Third Stone and Tusk FM, as well as Pearl - the Australian Janis Joplin Show from Melbourne.

It all kicks off at noon at the Mount Compass Tavern with a full day of musical memories. Take along a chair or picnic rug and sit back to enjoy the nostalgia.

A shuttle bus will run all day between Victor Harbor, Mount Compass Caravan Park and Seaford Rise.

For those who want to stay for more than the day, camping and cabins are available at the Mount Compass caravan park - 8556 8600 and the Compass Country Cabins - 8556 8425.

The event is licenced, so not for under 18s and no BYO of food or drinks will be permitted.
