Mount Barker Hospital has been listed as a COVID-19 Low Risk Casual Contact location by SA Health.

Anyone who was at the hospital from Monday 29 November from 11.30 to 6.30pm is asked to monitor for symptoms and get tested as soon as they develop.

SA Health is also advising people who were at the hospital outside of the specified date and time to also monitor for symptoms and get tested as soon as any develop.

South Australia has recorded 18 new cases of COVID-19 today.

Chief Public Health Officer Nicola Spurrier told a press conference this afternoon that sixteen of the cases are linked to a high school reunion, held in Norwood on Saturday.

Professor Spurrier referred to the linked cases as the 'Norwood cluster'.

Former Premier Jay Weatherill attended the event and subsequently tested positive to COVID-19.

COVID-19 LOCATIONS OF CONCERN RELEASED TODAY

SA Health has identified new COVID-19 exposure locations in South Australia associated with a positive case of COVID-19.

If you attended an exposure location, you are required to follow the relevant health advice.

CASUAL CONTACT EXPOSURE LOCATION

Largs North – Stir Restaurant

Monday 29 November – 10.45am to 11.15am

If you were at the above Casual contact exposure location at the specified dates and times, you must: get tested immediately and quarantine until you receive a negative result, get tested again on day 6 and day 13, wear a surgical mask when around others at all times, avoid contact with vulnerable people (elderly, pregnant, young children), avoid non-essential activities where possible, avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing.

LOW RISK CASUAL CONTACT LOCATIONS

Mount Barker – Mount Barker General Hospital

Monday 29 November – 11.30am to 6.30pm

West Beach – BIG4 West Beach Parks

Sunday 28 November – 1.00pm to 5.00pm

If you were at the above Low risk casual contact locations, monitor yourself for symptoms and get tested as soon as they develop.

If you were at any of the above locations, but not at the specified date and time, monitor yourself for symptoms and get tested as soon as symptoms develop.

You must follow the relevant health advice even if you have not been contacted.
