A man is in custody following a suspicious death at Morphett Vale last night.

Just after 7pm on Sunday 19 November, emergency services were called to Wark Court after reports that a person was unresponsive inside a home.

When police arrived they located a 39-year-old Encounter Bay woman deceased at the scene.

A 40-year-old Morphett Vale man, who was known to the woman, was arrested at the home. He has been charged with murder and refused bail to appear at the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today (Monday 20 November).
