Next week is Families Week and Fleurieu Families will host two local nature play in the park sessions, along with Good Natured Connections.

They say connecting with nature helps people cope with stress, feel good and think clearly and creatively. 

The play sessions will be next Sunday 15 May in Victor Harbor and Normanville.

Families will have the opportunity to learn about local flora and fauna, and join in fun, nature-based activities.

There will also be clay and native plants available to make models of favourite creatures.

These free events will take place at Muwerang Kent Reserve, Victor Harbor, from 10am to 12noon and at Banksia Park, Normanville, from 2-4pm.

Take along a picnic morning or afternoon tea. All welcome. All abilities. All ages.
