Log on to register.southaustralia.com from 11am this morning for a chance to secure one of the second round of Great State Tourism vouchers.
Be quick, as the entire allocation of the first round of vouchers was claimed within 90 minutes of the website opening in October last year.
Vouchers for $100 for accommodation in the CBD and North Adelaide and $50 for the regions and suburban Adelaide will again be available.
The Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge and The Vinyard Retreat at McLaren Vale are just two of the local businesses accepting the vouchers.
Once the vouchers are distributed, holders have from 7 to 31 January to book accommodation to use between 7 January and 31 March (excluding Saturday nights).
A separate allocation of vouchers will be available to people who live interstate to encourage travel to South Australia.
Premier Steven Marshall is urging South Australians and Australians to get online and get a voucher.
“With over 300 places to stay across the state, offering some of the best deals at the best time of year to travel, South Australians and interstaters have never had a better reason to book a stay in SA,” Premier Marshall said.
“From BIG4 Naracoorte Holiday Park on the Limestone Coast for $50 a night, to the city’s newest hotels including the brand new EOS by Sky City for $499 and Crowne Plaza Adelaide starting from just $99, or the soon-to-open Majestic M Suites for only $99 – there is something for everyone’s taste and budget.
“The first round of vouchers injected $10 million into our state’s economy, with the tens of thousands of discounted room night bookings giving people more time and more money to spend on experiences like the Naracoorte Caves, Granite Island Tram or the Adelaide Zoo.
The vouchers can be used for single night stays or as part of a longer break.
