A newly installed footpath near the Victor Harbor Cemetery allows visitors to take a stroll and explore the surrounding natural environment.

The pathway accessed via Finniss Road is around 600m and starts near the south eastern corner of the Victor Harbor Cemetery, near the lower terrace lawn.

This path is the first stage of a much greater plan to connect existing trails along the Inman River to the Victor Harbor Cemetery. 

Future stages will be completed as council budget and resources permit.

The City of Victor Harbor says it is committed to improving its open spaces and maximising recreational opportunities for the community.

The council asks that walkers are respectful of the natural environment and visitors to the cemetery.
