The south coast will again see in the New Year with a bang as fireworks displays go ahead in both Goolwa and Victor Harbor.

The Goolwa Fireworks Committee organises Off the Bridge Fireworks, bringing the Goolwa wharf precinct to life with a spectacular display of colour and lights off the Hindmarsh Island Bridge.

The bridge will be closed on Friday 31 December 2021 from 11.15pm to around 12.45am to accommodate the midnight fireworks.

The City of Victor Harbor will host a New Year’s Eve party at Warland Reserve with family-friendly entertainment from 7.30pm.

Mr Oopy will provide laughs for the kids and there will be carnival rides for thrill seekers while party band 'Everybody Talks' supplies the music.

Not one, but two fireworks displays will light up the night, with an early show around 9.45pm for those who can’t stay awake until the midnight extravaganza.

There will be limited parking available in the Main Street Precinct and road closures will be in place.
