The draft concept plan for the new Aldinga Skatepark is ready for the community to have a say on the proposed design.
City of Onkaparinga asked for community input on a skatepark in December last year and this contributed to the draft concept plan developed consultant firm CONVIC.
This project is identified in the Aldinga Sports Park Masterplan and funded by a $1.3M state government grant.
It includes a skate park that can host events and competitions, with lights, irrigated turf for seating and viewing, benches, shelter, trees, footpaths and an unsealed car park.
Drop in information sessions will be held on Wednesday 4 April to enable the community to see the plans and have a say.
They will be at Aldinga Payinthi College Early Learning Centre from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and at Morton Road skatepark, in Christie Downs, from 6pm to 7pm.
There is also a survey that can be completed online. View the draft concept plan on the Onkaparinga Council website.
