More than 200 people attended the 2019 Business Victor Harbor annual business awards, held at McCracken Country Club on 8 November.
Nino’s restaurant scooped the pool, taking out the overall award for most outstanding business, as well as best hospitality business, employer of the year and employee of the year – Megan Jackson.
Business Victor Harbor President Nick Gormley says the annual awards evening recognises and celebrates the Victor Harbor community's outstanding businesses.
Starting with a list of over 800 businesses, the process was robust, with each finalist participating in an in-depth analysis by a panel of judges - to identify the worthy recipients of each category.
Montana White of Jads Hairdressers was named young employee of the year.
Peter Toop, Scott Nottle and Brett and Bev Steinert were inducted into the hall of fame.
Martin Haese, CEO of Business SA and former Lord Mayor of Adelaide, was the guest speaker at the awards night.
Hospitality students of Victor Harbor High School prepared and served canapés for the appreciative audience.
