Police are investigating a car fire at Noarlunga Downs early this morning.

About 3.15am Friday 10 June, police and MFS were called to Lovelock Drive after reports of a car on fire in the street.

A Holden station wagon was engulfed in flames but quickly extinguished by fire crews.

Police believe that the fire was deliberately lit and are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the street to contact police.
