There is still time to make a nomination for the City of Onkaparinga 2024 Every Generation Onkaparinga (EGO) Awards, with the deadline on Friday 9 August.

The EGO Awards celebrate the remarkable contributions of individuals and groups of all ages, cultures, and abilities towards positive ageing in the City of Onkaparinga.

This is an opportunity to recognise those who are making a difference in intergenerational connection and positive ageing within the community.

There are three different awards: individual, group and intergenerational. People aged 50 years and above may be nominated for any of these but can only win in one category.

Nominations may recognise:

• Volunteers - contributing to local communities.
• Role models - who inspire community connection at every age.
• High achievers - in arts, sports, education, and culture.
• Intergenerational initiatives that unite our community. Open to any age.
