Nominations are now open for the 2022 McLaren Vale Business Awards. It’s that time of the year where you can nominate your favourite McLaren Vale Business.

The McLaren Vale Business and Tourism Association has been recognising quiet achievers with these awards for the past 17 years.

The local community can nominate businesses they think are deserving of the awards in each category. 

Some of the categories for this year include trades, home-based business, retail, and tourism.

The environment category was re-introduced in 2021, and is open again this year. This award is to recognise a business or individual in the region doing great things for the environment and sustainability.

There will also be awards for the People’s Choice and Business of the Year. The People’s Choice voting will be open October 13 – 23.

Voting concludes Friday September 2nd, and finalists in each category will then be notified and invited to make a submission.

Business of the Year award is awarded purely on merit by the expert panel of judges.

“This year we are grateful to be supported by 13 Gold Sponsors and seven Executive sponsors,” says Anne Rhodes, Secretary of the McLaren Vale Business and Tourism Association.

Winners will be announced on Friday 28 October at the awards gala. This year it will be held in the function Room at the McLaren Vale Motel.
