The brand spanking new surf lifesaving club will be in full celebration mode at the annual Yank Youth Beachfest in Normanville on Sunday 7 January. 

The club will host its Carri' to Club swim, run or walk event from 10am to 12noon, which will be followed by Beachfest from12noon to 3pm.

A family-friendly event on the foreshore, it will feature live music, badge making, a sand castle competition, beach volleyball and beach cricket.

Fleurieu Marine Education will have an interactive stall and Naomi from Wonki Knee Art will lead sand mandala creation – pre book online.

A sausage sizzle will be available, with  other food and drinks for sale from the Normanville Surf Life Saving Club and Aqua Blue Cafe & Kiosk.
