Victor Harbor police received their third donation of quilts from local sewing group, Sew WHATs last week.
Since early 2024, women from the Sew WHATs (Women Having a Therapy Session) group have donated more than 35 handcrafted blankets to Hills Fleurieu police.
They provide comfort to victims of crime and people experiencing trauma, crisis or distress.
Sew WHATs is a group of passionate women from across the Hills Fleurieu Region – including Victor Harbor, Goolwa, Normanville and Kangaroo Island - who meet regularly for sewing, connection and therapeutic support.
Hills Fleurieu officers say they are grateful for the generosity of the avid quilters, which greatly assists police to support the local community.
