It is festival season on the Fleurieu, with the best of local produce on show and next Sunday 23 October sees olives take centre stage.
Get a taste of Tuscany on the when Olives SA and Peninsula Providore host the South Australian Olive Festival at Nangkita Grove in Tooperang.
There will be a range of seminars and tastings, including how to pickle your own olives or make a killer salad dressing with only two ingredients.
Grove walking tours, music, face painting and plenty of local produce, beer, wine and gin will add to the foodie fun, with olive producers and artisans sharing their expertise.
The Olive Festival runs from 10am to 4pm; entry is free but booking is advised for food experiences, such as the gala dinner on Saturday night, or the specialty barbecue lamb, pizzas and grazing boxes.
