The Tour Down Under returns as a major event in 2023 with lots happening across the Fleurieu.
It all kicks off tomorrow, Friday 13 January, and runs until Sunday 22 January. The big days on the Fleurieu are:
Sunday 15 January - Women's Race
Start: 11.30am, Colley Terrace, Glenelg.
Finish: approximately 3.05pm, Esplanade, Snapper Point, Aldinga.
The race will include sprints at Main Road, Willunga and Queen of the Mountain at Chapel Hill Road, McLaren Vale.
Spectators in Onkaparinga can enjoy live music, food trucks, roving entertainment, face-painting, and a big screen to watch the race before its thrilling finish.
Thursday 19 January - Men's Race
Start: 11.30am, Jetty Road, Brighton.
Finish: approximately 3.35pm, Esplanade, Victor Harbor.
The route is all about the coast as it rides through Aldinga Beach, Sellicks Hill, Myponga, Carrickalinga, Normanville, Yankalilla, Parawa and Hindmarsh Valley, before hitting Victor Harbor.
These streets will be closed from 6am to 7.30pm: Island Street from Victoria Street to The Esplanade; The Esplanade from Island Street to Flinders Parade; Albert Place from Railway Terrace to The Esplanade; and Flinders Parade from Coral Street to The Esplanade.
Saturday 21 January - Men's Race
Start: 11.30am, Esplanade, Port Willunga.
Finish: approximately 2.50pm, High Street, Willunga Township.
Pre-race festivities start from 10.30am and include food trucks, live music and a big screen to view the race throughout the day.
