Superintendent Mark Fairney, officer in charge of Hills Fleurieu Local Service Area says, “These very disappointing results prove that the message is still not getting through to drivers. SAPOL has a zero tolerance approach to drivers who choose to endanger the lives of others. SAPOL recently launched a new campaign ‘Drink Drivers are Selfish Pricks’ to try and stop drink-drivers, and make no apology for this hard hitting message. Too many lives are being lost on our roads.”
