Police have charged a Comanchero gang member with firearms and drug offences.

Just after 5.30pm on Thursday 15 February, Crime Gangs Task Force and STAR Operations officers attended an address in Plympton Park where they will allege a man has thrown a bag containing a loaded firearm onto a neighbouring roof.

Police conducted further searches of the home and located a trafficable quantity of methamphetamine, $20,000 in cash and numerous fake driver’s licences.

A 34-year-old man from Middleton was arrested for possess a firearm without a licence, traffic in a controlled drug and has been refused bail.  He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 19th February.
