Strathalbyn started the game off with a triple to Kim Cutting while Kathy Pash drew an error. They both stole bases bringing Cutting home followed by a safe hit to the outfield by Peyton Daniels which brought Pash home before Redsox made the next three outs at first base holding Strath to the two runs. Redsox had a safe hit to Lauren Christensen but they were unable to bring anyone home with Strath’s pitcher/catcher combo of Tess Norris to Gab Martin making a K2, a catch taken at third by Daniels and an outfield catch by Pash.

The second dig for Strath produced a safe hit to Kathryn Milne but she was picked off at second followed by two more pick offs of the lead runner by Redsox catcher Alex Mackay’s great throwing. Redsox had a safe hit to Sienna Golder who worked her way around the diamond and was brought home by a three baser to Saskia Charter-Harris with Strath’s short stop Cutting making an out at first and another two K2’s ended the innings.

Strath added a further four runs in the third with hits to Cutting, Bianca Pash and Milne. A three baser to Martin and a home run to K. Pash with Redsox Mackay taking a catch and right fielder Golder taking two. A two base hit to Redsox Kel O’Brien started them off and hits to Golder, Mackay and Catalina Sterian brought home two runs with Strath’s K. Pash now playing second making an out at first, a pick off of the runner at second and a K2 to new pitcher Daniels.

K. Pash drew an error in the fourth to get on base, stole to second and was brought home by an outfield hit to Daniels for the only run of the innings with Redsox short stop making an out, a K2 and an out at first. Strath needed to protect their lead and with another K2, an out at first and an out made by B. Pash now at second base they held Redsox scoreless coming out on top with the win 7 runs to Redsox 3.
