Wisanger moved up to second spot on the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) ladder after defeating Dudley United by 25 points during round five action at Penneshaw on Saturday. The Panthers won 9.17 (71) to the Eagles 6.10 (46) with their best players being Ezra Foster, Nicholas Berry, Jesse Rule, Phoenix Foster and Timmy Turner. Best for Dudley United included Zak Keir, Jack Packer, Seb Mcvann, Sam Howard and Isaac Argent, while Sam Willson kicked three goals.
Reigning premier Western Districts remain undefeated following their convincing 172-point win at Parndana. Brad Crabb kicked seven goals for the Saints to fire them to their 30.15 (195) to 3.5 (23) win. Western Districts had 12 different goalkickers with Wade Tucker, Jordan Whittle, Billy Brind, Sam Correll and Dylan Lockett chipping in with three goals apiece. Best players for the Saints included Riley Boyle, Caleb Whittle, Crabb, Sam Jonas and Tom Jonas, while Parndana was best served by Steven Motlop, Trad McMulkin, Zac Trethewey, Marlon Motlop and Eli Kuchel.
