Wisanger consolidated their spot in the top-two after a tight 13-point win over Dudley United during round 10 action in the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) at Wisanger yesterday. Dudley United led by 11 points at three-quarter time, before Wisanger finished strongly, kicking five goals to one in the last term, to win 13.7 (85) to 11.6 (72). Khyal Stead kicked four goals for the Panthers, while Eagles skipper Zak Keir also kicked four majors. Best players for Wisanger included Nick Berry, Ezra Foster, Brodee Williams, Nick Shurven and Luke Shurven. Dudley United was best served by Jack Packer, Frank Packer, Tait Florance, Sam Willson and Seb McVann.
Western Districts remained undefeated after defeating Parndana by 69 points at Gosse yesterday. The Saints led by 30 points at halftime, before kicking seven goals to one in the second half to win 13.13 (91) to 3.4 (22). Jordan Whittle was the standout forward on the ground with seven goals for Western Districts, while their best players were Henry Hammat, Blaize Whale, Dylan Lockett, Lachlan Florance and Sam Correll. Best for the Roosters included Trad McMulkin, Eli Kuchel, Ben Gaskin, Isaac Trethewey and Zach Trethewey.
