Wisanger has all but wrapped up the double chance after defeating Dudley United by 47 points during round 11 action in the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) at Penneshaw yesterday. Sam Clifford kicked eight goals as the Panthers won 17.9 (111) to 10.4 (64). Luke Shurven and Darcy Kildea chipped in with three goals each for Wisanger, while Ethan Stoeckel kicked five goals for Dudley United.
Western Districts have once again kicked a huge score after defeating reigning premier Kingscote by a whopping 246 points at Kingscote yesterday. The Saints led by 143 points at halftime and kicked a further 16 goals to one in the second half to win 40.19 (259) to 2.1 (13). Skipper Lleyton Hedges kicked 10 goals in a best-on-ground performance for Western Districts, while Caleb Whittle kicked six majors. Joining Hedges in the best players for the Saints were Dylan Lockett, Whittle, Bradley Crabb and Lachlan Florance.
