Following his March workshop for Dads, Mark Koen from Restored Connection will lead a free parenting session that focuses on girls.

It will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 9 April, at Myponga Hall from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Mums, Dads and carers can take along their young person aged 8+, to share, discuss and learn about supporting girls to grow into confident young women.

The play and activity-based workshop will allow families to gain understanding needs and support, through games, movement and activities.

A creche will be available for those with other children aged under eight who want to attend with older children.

The session is part of a series of parenting workshops to be held in the Yankalilla district in 2025, with funding from the Local Drug Action Team and the Alcohol and Drug Foundation.
