Get your dancing shoes on for the 2019 Victor Harbor Rock’n’Roll Festival on the weekend 13-15 September at venues all over town.
Friday the 13th will be a very lucky night for all, with the official welcome event kicking off at 7pm at Warland Reserve and featuring music from The Party Cats and DJ Jesse.
Saturday Night Live also starts at 7pm, with music from The Silverados and DJ The Midnight Rocker.
It’s not just about the evenings, with the Rockabilly stage in Ocean Street opening at 10.30am on Saturday, featuring DJ Jess, followed by The Satellites and Rockit Combo. It opens at 11.30am on Sunday, featuring DJ Barry Callaghan, Dead Lucky and Billy Rock Trio.
The Rock’n’Roll stage on Warland Reserve opens at 11am both days with DJ Tommy Kaye. On Saturday he will be followed by The Cadillacs and Leafy Roulette and the Joint Jumpin’ Hepcats; on Sunday by The Shakers and The Lincolns.
The first ever Miss Fleurieu Pin-up Parade will also be held on the Rock’n’Roll stage on Sunday afternoon.
Hosted by singer and writer Lorelei Lee, two titles will be awarded – Miss Fleurieu Modern and Miss Fleurieu Classic.
The weekend will be chock-full of vehicle displays, memorabilia, market stalls, more live music at the hotels Grosvenor and Crown and tons of fun.
