The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has granted approval for funding and construction of a Pedestrian Refuge on Main South Road, Yankalilla.

It anticipates that construction of the crossing will be completed within the next three months.

There may be disruption to traffic over this period to facilitate construction, but DIT does not expect that the road will need to be closed during the works and any interruptions will be minor.

The community will be advised of any required interruptions to road traffic in advance on the Traffic SA website and via roadside works signage at the time of construction.
