Police are looking for a driver who hit a teenager on his pushbike and drove off on Thursday 3 December.

At about 3.30pm the 13-year-old was riding his pushbike along Hindmarsh Road Victor Harbor when he has attempted to cross to the other side of the road between Bond Avenue and The Parkway.

He has then been hit by a white motor vehicle driven by a man. The driver has got out of the car and checked his vehicle and failed to offer assistance to the rider or provide his details and driven off.

The rider suffered minor injuries and his pushbike is damaged beyond repair.

Police are appealing to the public for any information that may identify the vehicle and driver involved in the crash. Investigations are continuing.
