About 11.45pm on Thursday 27 January, police and ambulance crews were called to a restaurant on Gulfview Road after reports that a man had been stabbed in the hand and punched in the head by a group of five males.

The victim, who is also the owner of the restaurant, was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The males may have been spraying graffiti on the premises prior to the assault.

One of the suspects was wearing a striped t-shirt and light-coloured tracksuit pants.
