Update from South Australian Police at 7:56 pm on Tuesday

Sadly the body of missing man Neil Underwood was found by police a short time ago.

There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will now be prepared for the State Coroner.

Police are asking for public assistance to help locate missing person Neil Underwood, who was last seen at his Heathfield home about 9.30am on Monday 19 July.

Mr Underwood is 51 years old, Caucasian appearance, 188cm tall, with grey hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and glasses with brown frames.

He may have travelled to the Goolwa or Victor Harbor area.

Members of the SES, the Victor Harbor Goolwa Sea Rescue Squadron and SAPOL have been searching near the barrages, the Yacht Club and near the bird hide in Goolwa throughout today.

Police have concerns for his welfare, and anyone who sees him is asked to call the Police Assistance Line immediately on 131444.
