It’s time to pack up the ponies and break out the Dom Perignon at the Vale Polo Classic next Saturday 2 April.

Enjoy the very best of McLaren Vale hospitality, glamorous fashions on the field and sophisticated all day entertainment both on and off the pitch.

Organisers say a day at the polo is like nothing else, as it fuses a competitive sporting event, the excitement of live thoroughbreds, premium hospitality and fashion.

The SA Polo Association will host two 20/20 style games of polo featuring the very best national talent.

This format of polo, on a reduced playing field, has been created to encourage crowd engagement with increased speed and shorter quarters.

Gates open at 1pm at the McLaren Football Oval, with last drinks at 9pm.

Tickets cost from $30 to $70, with children under 18 admitted free. Full details can be found on the website.
