There will be no dampening the excitement when the traditional Blue Light disco goes aquatic with a Blue Light pool party on Friday 15 November.

Young people aged between 10 and 17 can go for a splash at the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

The evening will feature games, prizes and a new inflatable, with DJ Brad Collins providing the music.

The ticket price of $10 includes a meal and a drink and tickets can be pre-purchased from Fleurieu Aquatic Centre customer service.

The Blue Light pool party is a lock-in event, supervised by police; parents must drop off and pick up at the door.

The main pool and the program will close at the earlier time of 5pm to accommodate the event, but the gym, YMCA swimming lessons and the hydrotherapy pool will run as usual.
