First Semi-Final (1.05pm Sunday 1 September @ Morphett Vale)

Cove and Reynella clash in the knockout sem-final with the winner to advance to the Preliminary Final next week at Flagstaff Hill. These two sides both won eight games and were separated on the ladder by 0.87%. To add to how even these two sides are they played on four occasions in the minor round with the record locked at 2-2! It’s a very hard one to pick. My tip...Cove by five points.

Second Semi-Final (2.40pm Sunday 1 September @ Flagstaff Hill)

Minor premier Aldinga face off against Flagstaff Hill with the winner to advance to the Grand Final at Aldinga on September 15. Aldinga have taken all before them on their way to the minor premiership this season, losing just one game and finishing 12 points clear of Flagstaff Hill on the ladder. The Sharks only loss came at the hands of the Falcons back in round five by 14 points but Aldinga have won the two subsequent contests by 15 points and 53 points. The Sharks have a potent forward line with the two leading goalkickers for the season in Cassandra Yerasimou (36) and Jasmine Smith (29). Flagstaff Hill will look to Alana Baker and Carli Morton to continue their stellar years. My tip...Aldinga by 12 points.
