Proposed speed limit changes for the Strathalbyn area could see the 50 km/h zone along Dry Plains Road extended south of Forrest Road.
The 80km/h zone would also be changed to 70 km/h and extended to south of Riverside Road.
It’s one of several changes recommended by Alexandrina Council and the Department of Infrastructure and Transport after a recent review.
The other proposed changes include:
- Changing the 100km/h zone on Riverside Road to 100km/h
- Changing the 80km/h zone at the western end of Forrest Road to 70km/h
- Changing the 80km/h zone on Parker Ave / Nine Mile Road to 70km/h in the zone south of Cobb and Co Court
