It was a case of ‘third time lucky’ for Pulse Netball Club on Saturday as they won the Southern Hills Netball Association (SHNA) A1 grand final by defeating a plucky Kangarilla 32-21. Pulse had lost the previous two grand finals to Clarendon but they would not be denied in 2020 as they completed an undefeated season (10 games including finals). Kudos to Kangarilla as they improved dramatically this season after not winning a game in 2019.
In the A2 competition, minor premier Seaford Storm completed a fine season by defeating a gallant Clarendon outfit 34-29 to take out the 2020 premiership. Storm only lost one game for the season and were favourites to win but Clarendon pushed them all the way.
