The annual South Australian jigsaw competition will be held in Willunga on 7 November.

A fundraising event for the Willunga Recreation Park, the competition offers a pathway to the Australian Jigsaw Championships and potentially the world championships to be held in Spain in 2021.

The South Australian Jigsaw Championship enables teams of four or two participants to vie for the title of South Australian 2020 Jigsaw Team Champion. 

This title will be awarded to the team that can complete a unique 500-piece jigsaw in the fastest time.

The competition will include both a 252 and 500 piece jigsaw of the same Iconic Willunga scene.

There will be three separate competitions.

The South Australian Jigsaw Championship is for teams of two taking on the 500-piece jigsaw. 

The winner will be recognised by the newly formed Australian Jigsaw Puzzle Association and have free entry to the Australian Jigsaw Championships to be held in Melbourne when COVID permits. 

The other two competitions involve teams of four taking on the 252-piece jigsaw or the 500-piece jigsaw.

All competitions start at 7pm. The cost is $20 per participant for four person teams and $25 per participant for two person teams.

Spectators are welcome to the South Australian 2020 Jigsaw Team Championship, subject to social distancing.
