The City of Onkaparinga is assisting SA Health to provide access to free Rapid Antigen Tests, to diagnose COVID-19, through some of its community centres and customer service centres.
The program has been targeted at vulnerable groups to support early testing and, where appropriate, antiviral treatment for those most at risk of severe disease.
Free rapid antigen tests are now available for people with disability or who are immunocompromised and carers of people with disability or who are immunocompromised.
They can also be provided to eligible Concession Card holders, including Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card and Department of Veterans Affairs Concession Card.
City of Onkaparinga residents don’t need to register to collect free rapid antigen tests, but will need to show an eligible concession card and wear a mask.
No personal information will be recorded and up to five RATs will be provided to each eligible person.
RATs are available from Elizabeth House; Wakefield House; Neporendi Centre; Aldinga Community Centre; Woodcroft Morphett Vale Neighbourhood Centre; and Noarlunga Customer service centre.
More information about RATs and COVID-19 treatment can be found on the SA Health website.
