The City of Victor Harbor has extended its deadline for nominations for Young Citizen of the Year until 8 January.
The award recognises and celebrates the extraordinary contributions young people make to their community.
Anyone can nominate a young individual they know, who has made an impact on the local area.
It is an opportunity to pay them the ultimate compliment by putting them forward for public acclamation.
To be eligible for Young Citizen of the Year Award the young person must be an Australian citizen aged between 16 and 29 on January 26, 2021.
Nominations close 5pm Friday, 8 January 2021. Visit the website to nominate.
The official awards ceremony will form part of the council’s Australia Day celebrations on January 26.
