There is one more day to make nominations for the McLaren Vale Business Awards for 2021.
The McLaren Vale Business and Tourism Association has been recognising quiet achievers with these awards for the past 16 years.
The local community can nominate businesses they think are deserving of the awards in each category.
Categories for this year include employee, home-based business, retail, and tourism.
The environment category has been re-introduced for 2021 to recognise businesses in the region doing great things for the environment and sustainability.
There will also be awards for the People’s Choice and Business of the Year.
Voting concludes tomorrow, Monday 16 August, and finalists in each category will then be notified and invited to make a submission.
“This year for the first time we are offering help with submissions, because previously it's pretty clear that many business owners are unsure of what to write, or maybe uncomfortable about writing about themselves,” says Anne Rhodes, Secretary of the McLaren Vale Business and Tourism Association.
A session to help finalists write their submission about their business will be held from 5.30 to 7pm on Monday 23 August at the Meeting Place in McLaren Vale.
Winners will be announced on Friday 15 October at the awards gala. This year it will be held in the Eileen Hardy Room at Hardy’s Tintara winery.
You can vote or nominate a business online.
