A representative from the SA Police Road Safety Centre will address issues faced by regional road users at a session in the Victor Harbor library on Tuesday 17 September.
It will cover:
- the Fatal Five causes of road trauma.
- recent road rule updates.
- regional crash statistics.
- sharing the road with heavy vehicles.
- safety tips for driving on regional roads.
- fatigue.
The SAPOL Road Safety Centre is a leader in road safety education, playing a vital role in reducing road trauma through enhancing the awareness, knowledge and skills of all road users through lifelong learning.
It offers education programs, under the Safer Journeys banner and delivers road safety sessions to businesses and community groups across the state.
The Victor Harbor session will run from 2.30pm to 3.30pm; book a place online.
