People living and working in regional, rural and remote Australia have the opportunity to share their views and experiences using telecommunications services.

The Regional Telecommunications Review is held every three years with an independent committee established to conduct it. 

The committee’s findings and recommendations help set the government’s approach to regional telecommunications issues and policy during the following years.

The review wants to hear about in accessing and using telecommunications services on the Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island. 

Written submissions can be made via the website until 31 July, or a short survey can be completed.

Sharing views and experiences will help the committee gauge the adequacy of telecommunications services and determine current and future needs. 

It would also like to hear innovative ideas about how to improve telecommunications services in regional, rural and remote Australia.

The committee has been asked to deliver its report to the federal government by 31 December.
