Reigning premier Yankalilla got their premiership defence off to an excellent start with a convincing 68-29 win at Mount Compass in the opening round of the Great Southern Netball Association (GSNA) on Saturday. In other games, Myponga travelled to McLaren Vale and came away with a 51-23 win, Langhorne Creek defeated Goolwa 54-42, Victor Harbor had a 53-43 win over Strathalbyn, while Willunga had a comfortable 80-39 win at the newly promoted Encounter Bay.
