A workshop is on offer for anyone who would like to get involved in revegetating a property but doesn’t know where to start.
The Goolwa to Wellington Local Action Planning Association (GWLAP) will host the seminar, led by Phil Barron, on Thursday 12 May at the Strathalbyn Natural Resource Centre.
Learn the basics of how to undertake a successful revegetation project, including where to start with species selection, weed control and planting and guarding.
An old hand at revegetation, Phil will give tips for good results and where to go for good advice.
No prior knowledge is needed, as the workshop will give a solid understanding of the basic principles of revegetation.
Supported by Green Adelaide and the Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board, the workshop runs from 6.30pm to 8pm; register to attend via Eventbrite.
GWLAP is a not for profit, community-based organisation, working closely with the local community to protect and restore biodiversity and sustainably manage natural resources.
