Christies Beach also had a big win as they accounted for Cove 8.10 (58) to 0.1 (1) at Bice Oval. The Saints led by 21 points at quarter time and extended their lead to a handy 35 points at the long break. A further three goals to none in the second half saw the final margin of 57 points in favour of Christies Beach. Brooke O’Brien was a star up forward for the Saints as she kicked six goals while Indiana Flynn slotted two majors.
