Singer Daryl Braithwaite will headline the Riding Out the Bloom fundraising concert on Saturday 17 January at the Goolwa Oval Recreation Precinct.
The special event aims to support local groups affected by the ongoing algal bloom across the state’s coastal areas.
Old Town Road Dance Party (DJ Set), My Chérie and Taylor Sheridan will support the main act.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Goolwa Community Association, supporting locally run community events and the introduction of small grants for businesses and groups.
Organisers have called for strong pre-concert ticket sales to help them deliver a safe, high-quality event.
Early booking tickets will cost $50 for adults and $25 for children, with family tickets available. Ticket prices will be higher at the gate.
Local sporting clubs and community groups will provide refreshments and other assistance on the night to raise funds for their own groups.
