Update 6.15pm: Armstrong Road re-open.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a serious crash at Victor Harbor.

About 1.20pm Tuesday 24 November emergency services were called to Armstrong Road (the Ring Road) after a sedan and a ute collided.

Both drivers have been taken to the South Coast District Hospital, the woman driving the sedan has serious injuries is expected to be airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre.

The Ring Road was closed between Crozier Road and Greenhills Road but has since been reopened.
