The City of Victor Harbor's annual road resealing program starts today, Monday 29 May and will continue until Saturday 3 June, weather permitting.
This work will be carried out by Fulton Hogan on behalf of the council and will affect the ring route, Armstrong Road, and Seaview Road in Victor Harbor.
Traffic management and some detours may be in place for the safety of pedestrians and vehicles.
The council has advised drivers to allow extra time when travelling through these areas.
Further east, following its partial closure for Alexandrina Road will be fully closed between Brookvale Road and Tucker Road from today, Monday 29 May, until 5pm on Friday 9 June.
The existing traffic management will be replaced with a detour for the duration of the temporary road closure.
Local access will be maintained; visit the Department of Infrastructure (DIT) website for further information.
Works will also continue on Long Valley Road, from Wistow to Strathalbyn, 1.5 kilometres north of Long Valley Cottages Road to south of Mine Flat Road.
They are expected to be completed in mid-2024, weather permitting. For further information visit the DIT website.
Road closures across the state can be checked on the Traffic SA website.
