The Victa Cinema will to host the Rise ‘n Shine CD launch on Tuesday 9 November, in celebration of the work completed during the Rise ‘N Shine project.

Professional musicians Jen de Ness Music and Bill Atkinson will open the event with a short set of uplifting songs before Rise ‘N Shine singers join in to launch their single.

The Rise ’N Shine project was directed by accomplished singer/songwriter, performer/teacher and choir director Jen de Ness. 

Under Jen’s direction, people from the community met for a number of weeks to hone their vocal and pre-performance skills, while developing confidence, courage and camaraderie for a group recording and performance. 

As part of the project, a professional recording was created by Ocean Studios' Recording Engineer/Musician (Ex-ABC Music Producer), Bill Atkinson. 

Supporters of the project include Coral Street Art Space, Sportspower Victor Harbor, Hotel Victor, Victor Harbor Hockey Club and major sponsors Ecco Marketing and City of Victor Harbor.

The event starts at 6pm, at Victa Cinema, in  Ocean Street Victor Harbor, with a limited number of free tickets available via Trybooking.
