Three roads in the Alexandrina Council area have been closed due to high water levels.
They are:
With continuing high rainfall in the River Murray catchment areas there are minor flood warnings in place for the river between Lock 1 (Blanchetown) and Wellington.
Higher flows are expected to move into this warning area over the next three weeks, raising the River Murray to Minor Flood level.
While flooding is expected to be in low-lying areas of the flood plain within the warning area, the high flow in the main river channel will pose a risk to public safety.

Current flood predictions suggest the start of peak flows and high river levels within the Alexandrina Council area will occur from early December and expect to remain high until February 2023.
