Alexandrina Council will temporarily close North Parade in Strathalbyn from today, 30 September for road works. 

Traffic management and a detour will be in place from tomorrow, 1 October, when North Parade will partially open to motorists. 

Parking bays will be cordoned off and not available for use during the duration of the works.

The scheduled road works include:

• Road patching .
• Renewal of six parking bays.
• Renewal of heritage kerbing and replacement of damaged pavers. 

Resealing of the road will be completed at a later date. 

Weather permitting, works are expected to be finished by Tuesday 14 October.
